ACP Teaching Webinar - Medical Oncology Curriculum 2021 Updates
The ACP is pleased to host a webinar updating trainees and trainers on the new Medical Oncology Curriculum 2021 - due to come into effect in August 2021.

All trainees will transition on to the new curriculum (unless within 12 months of CCT).

The new curriculum includes an oncology common stem (OCS) ST3 year, shared with Clinical Oncology. There are new requirements and assessments.

This session will provide an overview of the new curriculum content including assessment methods. There will be dedicated Q+A to discuss how the curriculum can be delivered and competencies met.

Dr Jackie Newby
JRCPTB SAC Chair and Consultant Medical Oncologist @Royal Free London
Jackie has been a consultant at the Royal Free Hospital in London for over 15 years, with a particular interest in breast cancer and clinical trials. In addition to her clinical work, she has been a member of the SAC (Specialist Advisory Committee) for Medical Oncology for many years, and in 2017 took over the role of Chair. She is co-chair of the joint Medical and Clinical Oncology Curriculum Working Group.
Dr Satinder Jagdev
JRCPTB SAC Curricula and assessment lead + Consultant Medical Oncologist @Leeds Cancer Centre, St James's University Hospital
Satinder is a consultant medical oncologist based at the Leeds Cancer Centre, specialising in renal, bladder and prostate cancer. She has a particular interest in training and education, being the training programme director for Yorkshire and Humber Deanery and a member of the JRCPTB Specialty Advisory Committee for several years. Satinder is a core member of the joint Medical and Clinical Oncology Curriculum Working Group and is the SAC Curricula and Assessment lead for medical oncology.

Anna is a trainee based in Liverpool. She is a representative on the ACP Trainees' Committee and Chair of the National Oncology Trainees Collaborative for Healthcare Research (NOTCH). Daniel is a trainee based in London. He is the Chair of the ACP Trainees' Committee and London representative for NOTCH. Both act as the national representatives for trainees in medical oncology on the JRCPTB SAC and are members of the Medical and Clinical Oncology Curriculum Working Group.
