Conservation Voters of South Carolina and the South Carolina Health Professionals for Climate Action present an educational webinar on the health impacts of climate change.
South Carolinians are becoming all too familiar with the impacts of climate change on our environment, from severe weather events and flooding to sea level rise and dangerous heat - we’re experiencing it all, and it’s only getting worse. But, what are the impacts of climate change on public health? And how do we begin to address those impacts to create a more just and equitable South Carolina? With more studies showing the link between climate change and COVID-19, it is time, now more than ever, to address the climate crisis – especially for communities who disproportionately suffer most. Join Conservation Voters of South Carolina and the South Carolina Health Professionals for Climate Action (SCHPCA) to learn more about the health impacts of climate change on our communities.
