ASK THE EXPERTS How to Build Creativity
What do we know about how to best build creativity? Do we understand how to optimize (and not hinder) our children’s creativity for the present and emerging technology ecosystem?

Join us for “How to Build Creativity,” a Children and Screens Ask the Experts webinar, addressing digital creative expression and more on Wednesday, December 2nd, at noon EST. This workshop will be moderated by esteemed researcher Robert Bilder, PhD, Director of the Tennenbaum Center for the Biology of Creativity and Distinguished Professor of Psychology at UCLA.

An interdisciplinary panel of leading psychologists, researchers, educators, and artists will share information about the science of creativity and how to enhance creative thinking in your children on-and off line. Find out what the research says about the role of imagination, individuality, and inventiveness as core skills of social emotional intelligence, math, science, and other fields. Also, learn about what impairs creative thinking, and what we know about unstructured vs structured play and time. At the end of the workshop, talented artists and musicians will demonstrate “live” an array of creative ideas that you can use to inspire your kids at home.

For those who are interested, there will be an opportunity at registration to indicate whether you would like to ask your question live on camera during the workshop.
