Before joining Telit, Safi was a global product manager of embedded wireless business and North America head of product marketing at Silex Technology. Prior to joining Silex, Safi held technical marketing and engineering management roles at Qualcomm. Safi has delivered several hundred million dollars in revenue through his business and technical leadership. Safi lead cross-functional teams to bring cutting-edge cellular, Wi-Fi, and multimedia technologies and products to market. Under Safi’s leadership at Qualcomm, he successfully brought several complex high-volume smartphone chips for 2G/3G/4G/LTE and MediaFLO into production. Safi holds an MBA from the Rady School of Management at UC San Diego, an MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan Ann Arbor, and a BS in Electrical Engineering.
