Dr. Talia Szydlo
Assistant Professor, Clinical Psychology PsyD @San Diego Campus
Dr. Talia Szydlo is a psychologist licensed in the United Kingdom. In addition to being core faculty at Alliant International University, she is a clinical instructor at the Yale Child Study Center, Yale School of Medicine. Prior to moving to the USA, Dr. Szydlo held positions at the Mental Health Service of King’s College University, as well as in Parkside Clinic, an NHS clinic for long term psychoanalytic psychotherapy. Dr. Szydlo has been working with young adults since 2012. Her main orientation is psychodynamic. She works with specific problems such as anxiety, depression, relationship problems, and eating disorders…as well as with existential issues such as identity matters, living authentically, and finding meaning in life.
Dr. Ashley Zapata
Clinical and Sport Psychologist @University of Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletics
Ashley Zapata is a mental performance consultant currently based in Minneapolis, Minnesota specializing in sport and performance psychology. She emphasizes the importance of motivation, encouragement, and energy in her work with athletes to optimize performance, whether that be in sport or in daily life. She has provided mental health and sport performance services to Division I collegiate athletes, elite/Olympic and professional athletes, and has curated training programs for teams, coaches, and affinity groups such as injured athletes, LGBTQIA+ and athletes of color.
