The Aircraft Luxury Tax, Tips for buyers and sellers
The hour-long webinar will be presented by Steven Sitcoff, a Partner with McMillan LLP, who specializes in aviation and tax law. He is arguably Canada’s leading expert on the new legislation levying tax on the sale and import of select luxury items, including aircraft with a value greater than $100,000.

Sitcoff will discuss the major issues you or your company should be aware from the main components to some of the lesser known but crucial structures of the tax for current and future investments.

The May 16 Webinar is brought to you free of charge by Skyservice Business Aviation, with its President and CEO Benjamin Murray also provided opening remarks shortly after 1:00 pm EST to describe how the Luxury Tax impacts their business and the aviation sector. Murray will then join Sitcoff for a Q&A period after the main presentation.
