The California Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP) Toolkit is now available on the CAL FIRE website. The California CWPP Toolkit provides important guidance and resources for communities to develop and implement CWPPs across the state. As part of the Toolkit’s launch, CAL FIRE and members of the team are hosting a webinar to learn more about the elements of the Toolkit and how it can help in CWPP development. There will also be a Q&A portion for participants to submit questions about the Toolkit. The Toolkit was co-developed by CAL FIRE—Office of the State Fire Marshal Community Wildfire Preparedness and Mitigation Division, Community Wildfire Planning Center, Fire Adapted Communities Learning Network, and California Fire Safe Council. Funding was provided by CAL FIRE’s Fire Prevention Program as part of the California Climate Investments Program.
