NORA Oil and Gas Extraction Spring Health and Safety Summit 2022

This free virtual summit, organized by the National Occupational Research Agenda (NORA) Oil and Gas Extraction Council, will provide updates regarding state-of-the-art knowledge on occupational exposures to noise and heat stress in the upstream oil and gas industry. Agenda topics include advances in occupational noise and heat stress exposure and control; latest NIOSH research, including on noise and ototoxic exposures, hearing protection devices and other PPE, and heat stress fatalities in the oilfield; and OSHA regulatory updates related to noise and heat stress. Anticipated attendees include industry and government leaders, management and worker representatives, and occupational health and safety professionals working on the industry’s upstream side. Certificates of attendance will be provided for attendees to submit for continuing education (CE) credits for certifications such as the CIH, CSP, and CRSP.
