Producers Roundtable Sundance 2023

As Sundance comes to a close, Dear Producer brings together six producers who had films premiere at the 2023 festival. Maria Altamirano (ALL DIRT ROADS TASTE OF SALT, U.S. Dramatic Competition), Deidre Backs (FANCY DANCE, U.S. Dramatic Competition), Diane Becker (KING COAL, Next), Anya Rous (IT'S ONLY LIFE AFTER ALL, Premieres), Lauren Vilchik (A LITTLE PRAYER, Premieres), and Laura Wagner (FREMONT, Next) will discuss their experience with this year’s hybrid yet “back to normal” festival, the role festivals play in the Hollywood landscape, and how festivals can improve to better serve filmmakers and the current sales market for independent films.
