Office Space 2020: Protocols for reopening the publishing office and tools to support remote working
Webinar Date: Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at 1:00 pm EDT.

In March 2020, offices around the world responded to the threat of the COVID-19 by closing office spaces and moving staff into home work spaces to keep everyone safe.

Eight months into the pandemic, some staff and companies have returned, or are eager to get back, to the office, while others prefer, or need, to continue working remotely.

In this 1 hour session, panelists will share their experiences developing safety protocols and bringing staff back into a physical space, as well as the challenges and rewards of switching to a permanent virtual office environment.

Moderator:
Jen Gauthier, Associate Publisher, Greystone Books, and chair of the ACP professional development committee

Panelists:
Lily Bergh, Canadian Scholars Press, Toronto, ON
Todd Besant, ARP Books, Winnipeg, MB
Terrilee Bulger, Nimbus Publishing, Halifax, NS
