Nuclear Neighbours: Living with a nuclear polluter in our midst
Nuclear Waste Online 2023 | Session 2

Join this session to learn from community members first hand about their experiences living next door or downstream from a nuclear facility.

Panelists will describe the realities for residents dealing with nuclear facilities in their midst, such as the lack of certainty with both the licensee and the regulator and human health and environmental concerns, and discuss the ability of the public to affect operations and license conditions.

Ole Hendrickson, Concerned Citizens of Renfrew County and Area (CNL, AECL, Chalk River)
