Comprehensive School Mental Health Systems: Collecting and Using Behavioral and Psychosocial Data Across All Tiers: Session 2
Participants will be engaged in work to understand and strengthen collection of psychosocial and behavioral data to inform work across all tiers of a comprehensive school mental health system (CSMHS). Focus topics will include: reviewing and leveraging existing data to inform action planning and program design; engaging in universal mental health screening; developing behavioral data systems to improve positive behavioral interventions and supports (PBIS); implementing psychosocial and behavioral progress monitoring; adopting measurement-based care practices; using psychosocial and behavioral data to inform program design and evaluation; reporting out on psychosocial and behavioral outcomes at the student- and system-level; and enhancing supervision and evaluation using psychosocial and behavioral data. Presentations will be accompanied by the provision of resources and engagement in activities to foster and support implementation.
