Revenge pornography is a type of online violence to which more and more young women in the region are exposed. The problem showed its scale when it was announced at the beginning of March that there were almost a dozen groups on Telegram in which tens of thousands men, mostly from the Balkans, exchanged various pornographic content. The largest group, EX YU Balkan Room, had about 36,000 members. Among the contents that were shared was child pornography. Experience in Europe and the region indicates that revenge pornography is on the rise during the COVID-19 pandemic. Topics of conversation during this event will include: What is revenge pornography and why is it on the rise? What are the consequences for victims and how to protect them? What can we do about prevention? What are the comparative experiences and practices in the region in combating this type of digital violence?
