CAAHEP 2022 Standards and Guidelines, MAERB

During this webinar, we will be covering the changes in the CAAHEP 2022 Standards and Guidelines outlined below. On the MAERB website, you will find a tracked version of the 2022 Standards and Guidelines on the Standards and Policies page, along with a clean version of the standards. In addition, we will be outlining the implementation timeline that is discussed in the Program Director Handbook (p. 8). You will find the Program Director Handbook on the Site Visits and Program Resources page under the Resources Tab. Finally, we will be discussing some of the proposed policy changes that were sent to the community on April 14, 2022. We will be looking specifically at the following Standards:

• Standard II.A—Minimum Expectations Statement & Goals
• Standard III.A.—Type and amount of resources
• Standard III.C—Curriculum
• Standard III.D—Resource Assessment
• Standard IV.A—Student Evaluation

• Standard V—Fair Practices
