I graduated from the finest law school in South Carolina (hint: it was the only one in the state at the time). I practiced law in both Carolinas. I represented lawyers in State Bar licensing and disciplinary cases. I worked for Legal Aid. I made the SC Pro Bono Honor Roll because I believe pro bono adds purpose to one’s practice. I was Vice President and Risk Manager for Lawyers Mutual Liability of NC. I was a Law Review Editor (at USC) and Legal Editor (at Lawyers Weekly). For 12 years, I wrote the advice column "Ask the Risk Man," which was turned into an enormously popular book of the same name (by enormously popular I mean my family seemed to like it).
