MAX MINUTES WITH GEORGIA DEPARTMENT OF JUVENILE JUSTICE
Thousands of youth are served annually through the Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ). The mission of DJJ is to transform young lives by providing evidence-based rehabilitative treatment services and supervision, strengthening the well-being of youth and families, and fostering safe communities.

On Friday, June 24th, Cathy Smith-Curry, Director, Office of Reentry Services, and Jamecia Phillips, Employment Resource Coordinator, will join MAX to discuss DJJ's F.R.E.S.H (Focusing Resources Effectively to Sustain Hope) Start Youth Initiative. F.R.E.S.H. Start provides current and former DJJ youth supervised in the community with career opportunities. The program utilizes collaborative efforts and community resources to ensure youth access to gainful employment by partnering with local business owners.

Join MAX on Friday, June 24th, 9:00 AM for a timely and virtual conversation.
