Expanded Writers Collective: Writing the Virus

Runway Journal is excited to announce the upcoming launch of Issue 45: Asemic, guest edited by Nancy Mauro-Flude, on Wednesday 22 June.

To celebrate, please join us on Wednesday 22 June at 7pm-7:30pm AEST for a participatory Zoom performance and reading of the work ‘Writing the Virus’ with the Expanded Writers Collective.

What is Writing the Virus? a textual compost. a continuous script experiment. a way of being together. a score. choral fragments, wormholes. a paradox: together while held apart. Audiences are invited to collectively read excerpts from a 56,567-word text written weekly from March 2020 to March 2021. You can also tune in to Runway Journal’s Facebook Page to watch the Live Stream of the event.

If you wish to participate, please join via the Zoom link no later than 7:05pm. Anyone who enters the Zoom Webinar after this time can watch as an Audience Member but unfortunately won’t be able to participate.

Viewers who don’t wish to participate are also welcome to join us via Runway Journal’s Facebook page to watch a livestream of the performance and reading.
