Panel discussion: Community activism of Indigenous women and Two-Spirit people
In the face of ongoing and systemic racism, sexism, and settler-colonialism, Indigenous women, femmes, and Two-Spirit people continue to survive, thrive, and serve as leaders both in and outside of their communities. There is a recognized need for gender justice advocates to be more inclusive in their vision for liberation, but mainstream feminism doesn't always meaningfully consider crucial topics like land sovereignty and decolonization.

Join this panel discussion to celebrate and hear from Indigenous leaders and learn about the relationship between feminist and Indigenous movements.

Speakers include Irene Compton, Celine Debassige, Sharp Dopler, and Gabrielle Fayant.
