The Polish startup med-tech industry not long ago was very torn: there was enough money to prove principles of new technology, but not quite enough to secure budgets for clinical trials, certification, and production. Then Covid-19 entered the scene. From that moment on med-tech experienced an enormous boom, the investment enthusiasm affected the startup stage as well. Now telemedicine, new medical materials, drug-delivery systems and genomics became new forerunners of Warsaw Stock Exchange as well as venture capital pipelines.
