Democratizing Philanthropy: You don’t have to be a billionaire to give like one

You’ll hear from New York Community Trust President Amy Freitag about how the largest funder of New York City nonprofits has shaped life in Queens, and connects donors with high-impact nonprofits; President and CEO of the Queens Public Library Dennis Walcott on the role of charities and their partners in building community; and philanthropist and executive Paula Kirby, on her family’s tradition of giving as well as her role in their Long Island City-based business.
