Dr. Kimberly Chapman is an expert in the diagnosis and management of MMA and PA at Children’s National Hospital in Washington, DC. She has an active patient clinic and her research program studies the pathophysiology of these diseases.
Nicola Longo, MD
Chief of Medical Genetics @Primary Children’s Medical Center
Dr. Nicola Longo is a professor of Pediatrics, adjunct professor of Pathology, and Adjunct Professor of Nutrition and Integrative Physiology at the University of Utah School of Medicine. As Chief of the Division of Medical Genetics, he is an expert in inherited metabolic diseases and is intimately involved in the treatment of patients with these diseases at Primary Children’s Medical Center.
Gerry Cox, MD, PhD

Dr. Gerry Cox is Chief Medical Officer of HemoShear Therapeutics. He is a board-certified clinical geneticist and pediatrician with two decades of experience leading clinical development programs for rare diseases. He still sees patients at Boston Children’s Hospital, where he was previously on staff and completed his pediatrics and genetics training. He also is an instructor in pediatrics at Harvard Medical School.
