Critical Elements for SSI Prevention in the Ambulatory Surgery Setting
Surgical procedures performed in ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs) continues to grow year over year in not only the number of procedures performed on an annual basis but also in the complexity of procedures. With procedures such as total joint replacements and spine procedures transitioning to the ASC, surgical site infection (SSI) prevention is a critical element of delivering quality care and promoting positive patient outcomes. This virtual event will focus on key areas of perioperative care to reduce SSI and support safe surgery in the ASC.
