Trey Rabun
Associate Director of Kinship and Community Services @Amara
Trey graduated with his Master's in Social Work from the University of Washington in 2011 and soon after begun his career at Amara. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Hampton University and a master’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Illinois. Trey has held several positions at Amara doing direct service, outreach, and now program development and management. Personally, Trey and his husband were foster parents for four years and have a 5-year-old adopted son.
Fred Swanson
Executive Director @Gay City: Seattle's LGBTQ Center
Fred Swanson is a foster dad who championed the development of Gay City Arts, a multidisciplinary program that centers disabled LGBTQ artists and QTPOC (queer and trans people of color). Received awards from the City and other groups for our groundbreaking work, and gained key insight through this innovative program on how to better center equity and racial justice across all of our work.
