#TheNewNormal has focussed heavily on how much schooling children have missed and how much they have fallen behind. Behind what exactly? The straight jacket that is too often the curriculum – even more so now?
In excess of 1.5 billion children have not been to school for 3 months or more in 2020. Is it time to press ‘pause’ and then ‘re–set’? Is it time for a curriculum that is based on the children, their profiles and how well we know them and their potential?
