Financial Trauma Recovery
Individual and organizational financial health is a topic of great concern, but often does not receive adequate attention and collaborative support. The focus of this session is to create awareness, while simultaneously offering considerations towards healing financially traumatic experiences. These considerations will be explored in a practical manner, for individuals and organizations to asses/ respond with experience, hope, and resilience during these changing times. C4 Consulting is committed to providing a trauma informed connection space for discussion, hope, and support through peer collaboration.

Christopher Bennett

Chris’ extensive experience in the behavioral health space began as a front-line, entry level staff member at a treatment center for complex mental illness and co-occurring disorders in San Diego in 2010. This role shaped not only a passion for helping others but his path into an industry that has changed his life. Since 2012, Chris has founded a behavioral health consulting firm based in San Diego and most recently a treatment center for young adults in Northern Virginia. Chris has spent most of his career building behavioral healthcare organizations and serving in executive leadership roles within them. In addition to his work with C4 Consulting, Chris serves as Entrepreneur in Residence for Doyen Consulting Group, based in San Diego, CA and serves on the Board of Directors for LEAD, Inc. (Let’s Empower, Advocate and Do), a Boston based non-profit striving to implement mental health education and training into every school system and business nationwide.
Robert Ryberg, MBA, CADC

Robert has been intimately involved in the financial and operational management of healthcare businesses for over a decade. He has held a variety of clinical and executive management roles within the behavioral healthcare field, most recently as CEO of C4 Recovery Foundation and Co-Founder of C4 Consulting, an industry leading financial and management consulting firm focused on the delivery of advisory consulting for strategic growth and development. In addition to his work with these organizations, Mr. Ryberg has extensive experience as an owner operator and investor of privately held behavioral healthcare organizations. Mr. Ryberg joined the C4 Recovery Foundation board of directors in 2011. He holds a BS from Utah Valley University, as well as an MBA with a concentration in Entrepreneurship and Healthcare Management from The University of Arizona’s Eller College of Management. Mr. Ryberg is also an angel investor, consultant, and board member in numerous growth-oriented businesses.
Jonathan De Carlo, CAC III

Jonathan is a Certified Addiction Counselor (Level III), with experience in addiction/recovery and mental health care since 1995, currently serving as the CEO of C4 Consulting, Inc., a subsidiary of C4 Recovery Foundation. He is co-owner and Director of Operations of Recovery 360°, providing psychosocial rehabilitation, individual, group, marriage, and family therapy, and organizational development and consultation services. Jonathan currently serves as a board president of the Colorado Association of Addiction Professionals (CAAP) and serves on the board of directors of the Stout Street Foundation. Additionally, he is a certified Helping Men Recover Consultant & Trainer with Griffin Recovery Enterprises, specializing in Men’s Integrated Treatment and Trauma Informed Care. Jonathan’s current passion is in assisting organizations develop sustainable growth and wellness through the principles of Values-Based Care, Trauma Informed Care, & Measurement-Based Care practices.
