The Road to 2030: Trades Contractors and the Federal 2030 Emissions Reduction Plan

The Federal 2030 Emission Reduction Plan issued by the Government of Canada outlines an ambitious goal of reducing carbon emissions across the country by 40% (from 2005 levels) by 2030. The Plan introduces the Canada Green Buildings Strategy that will include new policy, programs, incentives, and standards to drive a massive retrofit of existing building stock, and new construction to zero-carbon standards. Join us for a panel discussion on how the industry, specifically mechanical and electrical contractors, can get out ahead of these pending regulatory policies and standards and work towards these goals before the actual legislation and mandates start rolling in.
