Nosh (at Home) with Lynne Avadenka: The Venice Project
In 2018, Detroit Artist Lynne Avadenka was one of five Jewish artists invited to Venice by Beit Venezia (Home for Jewish Culture). This was to provide a Jewish creative response to the global climate crisis.

Avadenka is an artist and printmaker, creating mixed media work informed by the Jewish experience. She is known for her work that explores text and image. Her work is exhibited and collected internationally. Avadenka is currently the Director of Signal Return, a traditional letterpress print shop in Detroit's Eastern Market neighborhood.
