Hi there, You are invited to a Zoom webinar. When: Jan 24, 2023 12:00 PM Eastern Time (US and Canada) Topic: Book Release Celebration: Leaders from "You Are Us" explore self-liberation + leadership Register in advance for this webinar: https://us02web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_3_-sK0WvSNKrgNGY_2J7Xw After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar. ---------- Webinar Speakers Cat Ganson (Filmmaker & Entrepreneur @Pipper Media) As a filmmaker and entrepreneur, Cat creates transformational video content. He is curious about telling stories that are vulnerable so that our hearts are moved and we are reminded of our interconnectedness. His path of liberation led him out of a victimized and passive approach to life and into a conscious embrace of his divine gifts. As his journey unleashes his own potential, it also allows him to show up in ways that bring forth wholeness in others. His entrepreneurial venture with Pipper.media offers a scalable way for transformative storytelling to reach the world. Alissa Ackerman (Restorative Justice Facilitator and Trainer @Ampersands Restorative Justice & California State) A “pracademic” and “survivor scholar” who incorporates her academic training, practitioner, and personal experiences related to sexual violence to inform her everyday work. Alissa has dedicated her career to understanding everything she can about sexual harm. She has written extensively on topics related to sexual harm in academic journals and multiple books, including her most recent book, Healing from Sexual Violence: The Case for Vicarious Restorative Justice. As a pioneer in the field of restorative justice for cases of sexual harm, Alissa is internationally known and sought after as a speaker. Her TEDx Talk, The Importance of Connection, highlights how experiencing rape connected her both with those who have perpetrated acts of sexual violence and to her own healing. Eldra Jackson III (Executive Director & International Speaker @Inside Circle) A writer and sought-after public speaker on the topics of at-risk youth advocacy, effective criminal justice rehabilitation, and turning around ‘toxic’ masculinity, Eldra brings clarity of purpose, mission focus, and inspiration to his role at Inside Circle. He was an inmate at New Folsom Prison when he encountered Inside Circle and began the inner personal journey that eventually led to his release in 2014 and his current leadership role. A living example of successful rehabilitation and re-entry, Eldra has dedicated his free time on the outside to serving at-risk youth, acting as a facilitator, trainer, and mentor for organizations like Youth Empowerment and Goals Association, Shoulder to Shoulder, and the Alternatives to Violence Project. Hope Hyder (Writer & Soul-Centric Life Strategy Consultant ) A writer and soul-centric life strategy consultant who works with clients to help initiate deep and enduring shifts in areas of their life where they seek the most transformation. Hope's healing journey has led her to a place of understanding how the limitless possibility she accesses within herself is available to every human on earth and she helps ignite this in others. Hope's childhood trauma involving the racially-motivated murder of her father, a talented jazz musician, led her on a journey to the deepest places in the human experience, ultimately becoming a graceful advocate for the power of restorative justice and helping others discover what it means to be free. Quentin Robinson (Entrepreneur, Director, Performer, & Actor @Movements 4 Movements) As a director, performer, and actor, Quentin’s skills span a wide range of creative expression. His journey from disconnection from his body to reclaiming his somatic connection through dance brought Quentin to a unique place of embodied leadership. He’s worked as an artist in the 2022 Grammy Nominated NFL’s campaign for change. He produced, choreographed, and performed Black Magic, a film celebrating black excellence in dance. His dance performances include achieving 1st place winner in 2017 at The Vienna International Ballet Experience open category, the highest score ever recorded in the history of the competition. As a service born from his own transformation, Quentin founded Movements 4 Movements in 2019, offering dance and movement therapy workshops to communities encountering social, economic, and cultural barriers.
