We will have an in- depth discussion on the move of the strangulation question within the Lethality Assessment which automatically screens anyone in as high danger.
The Maryland Network Against Domestic Violence (MNADV) its award-winning practice, the Lethality Assessment Program (LAP). This nationally recognized practice was developed in partnership with Dr. Jacquelyn Campbell, whose research discovered that only 4% of domestic violence homicide victims had contacted a hotline or program prior to being killed by an intimate partner. The goal of the LAP is to educate victims/survivors about the risk factors for homicide and to connect them with support and services.
