An in Depth Discussion Addressing MNADV's Lethality Assessment Strangulation Question

This webinar presented by Dr. Jacquelyn Campbell and Dr. Jill Messing, is designed to give nationwide Lethality Assessment Program (LAP) implementers information on the Strangulation question on MNADV's updated Lethality Assessment. We will have an in- depth discussion on the move of the strangulation question within the Lethality Assessment which automatically screens anyone in as high danger.

The Maryland Network Against Domestic Violence (MNADV) its award-winning practice, the Lethality Assessment Program (LAP). This nationally recognized practice was developed in partnership with Dr. Jacquelyn Campbell, whose research discovered that only 4% of domestic violence homicide victims had contacted a hotline or program prior to being killed by an intimate partner. The goal of the LAP is to educate victims/survivors about the risk factors for homicide and to connect them with support and services.
