About the Change in a Time of Chaos: A St Columba’s-by-the-Castle Science and Faith Series:
At a time when human activity is changing the natural environment in catastrophic ways, how can we be agents of change towards a more just and sustainable world? How can the latest science help shape our understanding and behaviour? What will a sustainable economy look like and how can it be achieved without unfairly penalising the poor and vulnerable? What wisdom can faith communities offer in shaping outlooks and values that will contribute to this?
Speakers from a variety of disciplines will stimulate thought, discussion—and change—as we consider the most urgent issue facing our planet.
