Improving the Nation's Cyber Security – The Impact of EO 14028
Thursday, December 2, 2021, 1:00 PM ET

Join ASMGi and experts from The Cleveland Clinic and Rockwell Automation for an interactive discussion as we examine the downstream impacts of Executive Order 14028, “Improving The Nation’s Cybersecurity” released in May 2021.

This Executive Order is one of the most substantial cybersecurity policies that has been put in place with the goal to protect and secure computer systems, whether they are cloud-based, on-premises, or hybrid. It contains over seventy (70) actionable directives including both Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technologies (OT).

This policy directly influences technological and operational behaviors not only for the federal government but for private industry. It will introduce “new” focus areas such as the “Software Bill of Material (SBOM)" as well as an evolution of the principles of Zero Trust Architecture approaches to improve the risk posture of the federal government and private organizations.

Steve Roesing from ASMGi will be joined by Tony Baker from Rockwell Automation and Kevin Tambascio from the Cleveland Clinic and will provide unique insights from those of both a technology vendor and that of an asset owner.
