Whetting your Appetite for Engineering!
This Appetite for Engineering online event brings together a panel of food industry engineering professionals to discuss the lessons that industry should be learning from the events of the ongoing pandemic, and will consider how food industry engineers might start to move forward with successful automation projects to deliver productivity and efficiency improvements and ensure greater production resilience.
You will gain a better understanding of how to get started with automation projects in food processing that drive productivity, profitability and production resilience in a post-covid world.
Agenda: Ian Wright, chief executive of the Food & Drink Federation, will set the scene, giving his thoughts on the growing importance of the engineering role and automation within food production. This will be followed by a live panel discussion.
The discussion will also set the scene for the rescheduled physical Appetite for Engineering event which will be held on 31 March 2021 at the Manufacturing Technology Centre in Coventry.
