Faith Talks on When Mom's in Prison
This Faith Talks will focus on girls with incarcerated mothers. Guests will include Brittany Barnett, founder of the pioneering organization Girls Embracing Mothers (GEM), dedicated to breaking the cycle of incarceration for daughters of incarcerated mothers; and Emily Jones, United Women in Faith’s executive for racial justice, who will discuss our work interrupting the school to prison pipeline and our support of GEM.
