AUPHA Annual Meeting: Undergraduate Session - Engaging Community Partnerships to Elevate Performance
Healthcare administration education programs engage in community partnerships with private and civic organizations. Recently, one such partnership was formed between the Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education, the Lumina Foundation, and the University of Kentucky Clinical Leadership and Management (CLM) Program to participate in the QA Commons project, designed to elevate student outcomes in eight Essential Employability Qualities (EEQs) including: Principled and Ethical, Responsible and Professional, Inquirer, Thinker and Problem Solver, Communicator, Collaborator, Learner, and Adaptable. Using some of these materials and ideas, participants will discuss a variety of community partnerships used to elevate performance.
