Code for Canada Open House
Join us, Civic Tech YYC and Data for Good for a virtual Open House to learn about the Code for Canada fellowship program and the 2020 Code for Canada Fellowship Program partnership with Canada Energy Regulator based in Calgary.

The fellowship program (www.codefor.ca/fellowship) embeds digital professionals inside of government, where they spend 10 months collaborating with their government partners to design and deliver digital services that work better, are more efficient and more user-centred.

Applications for the next cohort of fellows are open now until Jul 17, 2020! ( www.codefor.ca/apply ).

5:00 p.m. - Welcome & Introduction to Code for Canada
5:15-5:30 p.m. - Transport Canada Marine Safety Unit Fellowship team shares their work in progress
5:30 p.m.-5:45 p.m. - Andrea Hill, Code for Canada Fellowship alumnus, hares the story of her time with C4C, and what she’s doing now
5:45 p.m. - Q&A

At the Open House, you’ll meet:
- Code for Canada Fellowship team staff, who will share an overview of the program.
- Code for Canada Fellows Keith Colbourne, Kay Nadalin, and Alexandre Sanscartier, currently embedded with Transport Canada's Marine Safety Unit. They’ll be sharing their work in progress!
- Andrea Hill, a Code for Canada Fellowship alumnus. She’ll share her experience during and after the Fellowship program.
