#TAG: Webinars for Dance Practitioners - Session 3: Barriers to Participation
Occupational Therapist, Michelle Gersh will introduce the combined person, environment and occupation model and explain barriers to participation. It will consider the 'vulnerable' adult and their needs focussing on chronic health conditions and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). A dance case study will be presented by Rashmi Becker, Founding Director of Step Change Studios, a company committed to making dance accessible for everyone.

This webinar is the third of a six-part series that takes a look at how the dance sector in Hertfordshire can increase access to dance provision for more members of our local communities. It offers professional development for practitioners, potential audience development for dance businesses and places greater value on the social impact of dance.

#TAG is a Hertfordshire based project that aims to celebrate the Hertfordshire Year of Culture 2020 by commissioning a programme of seven intergenerational dance projects with professional artists, working with communities in the districts of Dacorum, Watford and Three Rivers. Funded by Arts Council England.
