First Aid for Your Pet When Out and About
Speaker: Lissa Richardson, DVM, Diplomate of American College of Veterinary Surgeons

This talk will cover what you can do to be your pet’s first responder when on walks, hikes, and other outings. Cats are usually out on solo ventures, but when they come home, it is good to know what to do and sometimes, not do. We will also cover the prevention of common injuries and accidents. The speaker is a board-certified veterinary surgeon with over 30 years of experience. She is also an avid hiker, backpacker, and camper. Her own pets and their mishaps have provided her with ample opportunity to learn and practice what she preaches.
