Sir Stephen Wall, alumnus and Honorary Fellow, explains the history of our relationship with Europe and how Britain got to the position of Brexit. He has a unique perspective, being at the heart of it.

Sir Stephen is a former British permanent representative to the European Union; and he worked closely with John Major and Tony Blair, and many other senior UK politicians, including being EU adviser to Blair.
