DOE Nuclear Export Regulations, 10 CFR Part 810: Updates & Understanding the Final Rule on Monetary Civil Penalties Rule

The Final Rule implementing procedures for imposing monetary civil penalties for violations of the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) regulations found at 10 CFR Part 810 (Part 810), which govern exports of unclassified U.S. nuclear technology and assistance, is now in effect. Andrew Lyman, Civil Nuclear Cooperation Program Director with DOE’s National Nuclear Security Administration’s Office of Nonproliferation Policy, will brief those interested parties involved in nuclear technology export activities during a webinar sponsored by the American Nuclear Society. ANS Executive Director / CEO Craig Piercy will moderate the discussion.
