Structural Performance Measurements of structures in the ENERGY sector
Structural design has for decades been mainly concerned with forces acting on structures, but we don’t know if structures meet their design intent. The forces acting on tall structures in the Energy market, such as dams and wind towers in windfarms are very complex and the risk of designing structures on assumptions leads to the question if a structure is performing as intended. Additionally, the mechanisms of damage are often hidden, leaving inaccurate visual assessments as the only way owners practically assess aged facilities.

The STRAAM Group has developed a patented method to provide objective methods to quantify these concerns of remaining capacity and slow progression damage in this webinar. Dr. Alan Jerry and Thomas Winant will present this new technology to potential license takers or end-users.
