Social Venture Circle hosts this interactive webinar led by Jama Adams (SidePorch) on inspiring public-private partnerships, mission-oriented companies, and others working together to find solutions to this global pandemic.
For example, in the first weeks of shelter-in-place, SidePorch supported the transition of a molecular genetics company to providing COVID-19 testing in response to the global pandemic. In less than two weeks, the company made available thousands of COVID-19 tests. SidePorch developed strategy, and systems for all partnerships to support the response, with the goal is to get as many tests as possible to essential workers, prioritizing hospital and field-based healthcare workers, first responders, and others in need. Its sister nonprofit subsidizes the cost per test to allow them to donate tests to organizations in need.
