The Hidden Harms of COVID-19
The COVID-19 pandemic  has  had  significant consequences  on  the health  and well-being  of Canadians.  From  death and disability  to  loss of employment and financial insecurity,  the immediate impacts of the virus have been widely  known and  understood by Canadians.  However, the  evidence of  non-COVID  related harms  is gradually emerging and causing concern among health care  professionals and those in social services.

Join Canada 2020 for a conversation on the secondary effects of public health interventions against COVID-19, how they continue to impact the health and wellbeing of Canadians, and why they must not be ignored.

Featuring participation from:
Dr. Vera Etches, Medical Officer of Health, Ottawa Public Health
Dr. Vivek Goel, Professor, Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation, Dalla Lana School of Public Health, University of Toronto School of Public Health
Dr. Gail Beck, Clinical Director, Youth Psychiatry Program, The Royal Ottawa Mental Health Centre
Moderated by Nadine Yousif, Mental Health Reporter, Toronto Star
