Kristin Olsen Landis is a college consultant who provides individualized and comprehensive guidance to students as they approach and navigate the college admissions process. She is committed to strategically identifying and developing a student’s strengths in order to present a compelling and coherent narrative to admissions evaluators. Kristin has a unique perspective, having evaluated over 10,000 applications for admissions to the University of Virginia over the last eleven years. In addition to her work in college admissions and consulting, Kristin is currently an attorney with a non-profit organization. She received her Juris Doctorate from Emory University School of Law and her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Richmond, where she was a recipient of a Division I swimming scholarship. Kristin also appreciates the college admission process from the perspective of a parent, having experienced it with her three children.
Ann Dolin, M.Ed.

Ann Dolin, M.Ed., has a strong conviction that school doesn’t have to place stress on children and parents. Based on her nearly 30 years of experience, she has developed practical strategies that she shares to help kids succeed and make the most of their academic journey. Ann has a degree in Child Psychology and a Masters in Special Education. She is a former public school teacher, mother of two, author, and advocate for kids with ADHD and learning issues. She founded Educational Connections in 1998, tutoring one student at her dining room table. Today her company has grown to employ more than 120 tutors, executive function coaches, and college consultants who provide virtual support to K-12 students in the DC area and beyond. Ann is also the author of the award-winning book, Homework Made Simple: Tips, Tools, and Solutions for Stress-Free Homework and her latest book, Getting Past Procrastination: How to Get Your Kids Organized, Focused and Motivated…Without Being the Bad Guy.
