Hip fractures in the elderly are amongst the most common fragility fractures. Hip fractures constitute a serious healthcare issue with reported mortality rates of up to 25% at one year. Considering our rapidly aging population, it is my belief that prevention is as important if not more important than treating the fracture once it has occurred.

2. SMC require doctors to attend 1 full hour session of Zoom for any CME point granted event in order to get the CME point.
