GRI Cross-country Learning Session for Business: Climate Change, Gender Equality & Inclusion, Waste & Circular Economy, and OHS
The Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), with the support from the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) - Australia, has been working with the Securities Exchange Commissions and Stock Exchanges (SE) in Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Indonesia and the Philippines in accelerating the uptake of sustainable business practices and sustainability reporting in the respective countries and in the region. After three (3) years of the program implementation, GRI is launching a cross-country sharing in collaboration with the Colombo Stock Exchange, Dhaka Stock Exchange, Indonesia Stock Exchange, and the Securities & Exchange Commission of the Philippines discussing experiences and best practices of companies in the region on hot topics such as climate change, gender inclusivity, waste and circular economy, and health and safety, with the purpose of creating a shared journey in sustainability.
The learning series will be delivered on a weekly basis through zoom, every Tuesday from the 9th to 30th of November 2021 at:
- 11.00 am - 12.30 pm for India & Sri Lanka time, or
- 11.30 am -1 pm for Bangladesh, or
- 12.30-14.00 pm Jakarta time, or
- 13.30-15.00 pm Manila
The sessions are open to companies across the region through the invitation to be cascaded by the SEC and SEs in the aforementioned countries.
