Providing trauma-informed care includes being mindful and intentional about when, why, and how you collect, share, and use data from sexual and reproductive health clients. This session explores how to center patients’ lived experiences—including their background, perspectives, social determinants of health, and trauma—and implement trauma-informed practices in data management. We will discuss strategies to ensure data collection, sharing, and use processes are sensitive to clients and also support providers in meeting data requirements. Participants will learn to navigate the complexities of modern health IT systems, maintain data security, and empower clients in their health journeys by integrating their voices into data-driven decisions. Title X grantees and other sexual and reproductive health providers are invited to join.
