NYCOM Legislative Priorities and Business Meeting
This meeting of the NYCOM membership will (1) establish our Legislative Priorities for 2021 and (2) vote on the report of the NYCOM Nominating Committee to fill the vacancy in the office of 2nd Vice President. The direct involvement of our city and village leaders in developing and advocating for our legislative agenda is more important than ever. Addressing the 20% withholding of state aid and the need for federal funding to local/state governments is critically important to the financial future of our local governments, as is meaningful mandate relief and enhanced flexibility for cities and villages. As our members continue to contend with an economic slowdown and we prepare for the 2021 legislative session, NYCOM looks forward to your input on these and other legislative remedies that will allow you to do your jobs more effectively.

NOTE: Pre-registrants will receive an email in advance of the meeting with policy issues to be discussed, an opportunity to offer up additional proposals for consideration, and the report of the Nominating Committee.
