Our Hope for Social Justice: A Candid Conversation about Race, Justice and Living Better, Together
Join us for a live conversation and Q&A with human rights activist and author of Everyday Ubuntu: Living Better Together, the African Way, Mungi Ngomane and her mother, the Reverend Naomi Tutu. As the granddaughter and daughter of Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Ms. Ngomane and Rev. Tutu have been immersed in social justice their entire lives. These experiences taught them that our whole human family loses when we accept situations of oppression, and how the teaching and preaching of hate and division injure us all. They will offer ideas and lessons they have learned throughout their lives and careers. They will discuss themes from Everyday Ubuntu and how we can apply them to our daily lives. In conclusion, they will take audience questions
