As part of the launch of the ISC Racial Justice Working Group (RJWG) and coinciding with International Women's Day on 8 March 2021, a global panel will share stories that highlight the importance of sponsorship to the advancement of Ethnic Minority Women/ Women of Colour in the insurance industry.
Centered around the RJWG core theme of Sponsorship, the panel discussion will focus on the impact of sponsorship on careers, the importance of authenticity and inclusion as Ethnic Minority Women / Women of Colour, and how systemic inequalities have impacted their professional journeys.

Alikeh Doyle (Bermuda), Operations Manager, Brit Re and Sussex Capital
Alikeh began her career as catastrophe model analyst at XLRe primarily focused on international risks. She then moved to New Castle Re initially as an underwriting analyst and was soon promoted to US underwriter. The financial meltdown of 2008 resulted in a career pivot where she then joined Hiscox as a claims analyst eventually becoming the senior claims analyst and Bermuda claims team leader.

Sima is a senior qualified General Insurance Actuary with strong commercial acumen. She has extensive Pricing, Reserving and Capital experience across a number of large multi-national insurers and a big 4 consulting firm. At AIG, she is responsible for pricing and reserving across the UK, EMEA, Global Specialty and Talbot businesses totalling $8.6bn net written premiums.
