The session will focus on OSHA’s recently proposed updates to the Hazard Communications Standard (HCS). We’re pleased to announce that Janet Carter, senior scientist at OSHA will be our guest, providing an overview of OSHA's proposed rule and answering questions posed to her by ILMA CEO Holly Alfano, discussing the concerns of ILMA members.
OSHA has proposed its long-promised changes to the Hazard Communication Standard (HCS) to align it with the seventh revision of the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS) and to address issues from the implementation of the last updates made in 2012. The Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) was published in the February 16 Federal Register.
If you have questions you’d like to send in advance for Ms. Carter, please send them to firstname.lastname@example.org by Monday, March 15.
